BASKETBALL-NBA-MIL-HILLReuters America WireGeorge Hill gave the Milwaukee Bucks a big lift in the playoffs, but his price tag is apparently too much to keep him around. The Bucks plan to waive the veteran point guard, who came to Milwaukee in a three-team trade in December, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Bucks would only have to pay him $1 million if he is waived before July 1. After joining the Bucks, Hill averaged 6.8 points per game during the regular season, but upped that to 11.5 points per game during their playoff run. The Bucks reportedly would like to bring Hill back at a lower price, perhaps with the mid-level exception that figures to be worth around $5 million per season.
