Police are asking the public for help finding a man wanted for stealing more than $58,000 in liquor from LCBO stores throughout Toronto. According to a Saturday news release, the man has been stealing from various stores since June 5, 2018. He enters the stores, puts liquor bottles into his bag and leaves without paying, police said in the release. He was last seen on June 18 near Burnhamthorpe and Saturn Rds. The LCBO has been ramping up its theft protection efforts, including hiring uniformed police officers to patrol stores, as thefts like these have increased more than threefold over the past five years.
