According to her, their fake lifestyles is a reflection of African society where celebrities always want to be seen at every event. “We live in a society that respects wealth more than the substance people has to offer. So since people are looking for respect most times, they live way above their means so that people can respect them”, she revealed. Omotola however observed that celebrities can live within their means by not necessarily showing up at each event.
