Share TweetBy MB OnlineThe Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced that the public can now process applications for student permits or renewal of driver’s licenses in malls every Saturday starting this month. “To fully maximize the accessibility and availability of our services to the public in malls, effective June 2019, all DLROs are hereby required to operate and process applications for renewal of driver’s license and issue student permits on Saturdays,” read LTO memorandum circular no. LTO also ordered all heads of Driver’s License Renewal Offices (DLROs) to discuss their weekend operating hours with the managers of their partner mall or commercial center. LTO Executive Director Romeo Vera-Cruz said a minimum of 80 applicants in provincial offices up to maximum of 180 to 200 in highly urbanized areas visit different LTO offices for licenses renewal in a day.
