Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo made the statement following the lack of remarks from the President five days after the incident. Twenty-two Filipino fishermen were abandoned at a sea after their anchored vessel was hit by the Chinese vessel on June 9. Malacañang has condemned China’s act of abandoning the 22 Filipino fishermen who were in distress after their vessel sunk.
