KUALA LUMPUR: The remains of 11 victims who perished in the fire at a religious school on Thursday were laid to rest at the Raudatul Sakinah cemetery in Gombak here. The remains of the first victim arrived at the cemetery at about 6.35pm on Friday and the burials of all the victims were completed at about 9pm. Family members, relatives and friends of the victims gathered at the cemetery as early as 3.30pm on Friday. The fire on Thursday morning gutted the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school on Jalan Datuk Keramat, killing 21 students and two teachers.
