The court also directed the board to immediately release the CEO's salary and allowances, which were withheld during his four-month suspension. Justice Maurine Onyango said her decision to quash the board's action against the CEO was meant to uphold the law and his constitutional rights. Amombo was suspended four months ago and later sacked after allegations of incompetence and disrespecting the board.
