Devin Nunes, the Republican chairman of the House intelligence committee, says the memo will help 'to ensure Americans that the FISA process is not being abused.' Republican Rep. Will Hurd, who is a member of the House intelligence committee, said the memo is not a rebuke of the FBI rank-and-file or special counsel Robert Mueller. Ranking member of the House intelligence committee Adam Schiff speaks on Capitol Hill in Washington on Nov. 30. Schiff has called the Republican memo 'a political hit job on the FBI in the service of the president.'
