The Regina Pats completed a four-game Alberta swing Sunday with a 5-2 WHL loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings. After registering two wins and two losses on the road trip, the Pats have a 15-37-1-2 record. Austin Pratt and Logan Nijhoff scored for the Pats, who got 40 saves from Max Paddock. Carter Souch, Scott Atkinson, David Kope, Andrew Fyten and Trey Fix-Wolansky (with an empty-netter) scored for Edmonton, which trailed 1-0 and led 3-1 at the intermissions. Dylan Myskiw made 34 saves for the Oil Kings (30-16-4-4), who are to oppose the Pats again on Friday (7 p.m., Brandt Centre).
