Daniel FernandoTop bets in the province of Bulacan, including film and television personalities, have filed their certificates of candidacy (CoCs) for the May 2022 national and local elections. Comedian Long Mejia also filed his candidacy for board member in the First District of Bulacan as an independent candidate. In 2010, he started his own foundation known as Samahang Kapwa Tao Foundation Inc. and in 2016 he became the chief security officer of then Vice Gov. The Fernando-Castro tandem will battle incumbent Vice Gov. Pandi Vice Mayor Patrick Meneses also wants to return as mayor, with incumbent Councilor Oya Mendoza as his running mate also under the NUP.
