[1]Picture Source:ReutersUN Security Council calls for Houthi rebels to immediately cease attacksThe timing of the attack by the US and UK is logical from the perspective that the UN Security Council on Wednesday demanded Yemen’s Houthi rebels to immediately end attacks on vessels in the Red Sea. US Naval forces shot down 18 drones and 3 missiles following a large-scale attack by Houthi rebels. So again, the notion that the current Red Sea Crisis is isolated to Asia and Europe is once again proven wrong. It is though expected that this will gradually increase, considering that the challenges in the Red Sea by now are considered longer lasting.
