Recognising a diverse rainbow of youthGRANT MATTHEW/STUFF Rainbow Youth representative Morgan Butler says there is no right or wrong time to 'come out'. Morgan Butler would have loved to have someone do for them what they are doing now. A support manager at Rainbow Youth, an Auckland-based charity that supports queer and gender diverse youth, Butler was in New Plymouth this week to talk about sexuality and gender identity to health providers and to help young people access support. "We mainly talked about what does queer/gender diverse look like, what services can they access, what are the pathways, what do they think Taranaki needs." Butler said people often came into Rainbow Youth just to hang out.
