A 30-year-old Ottawa woman missing since Aug. 18 has been found safe and sound after an extensive community and police search. Rebecca McCaffrey was last seen around 9:45 a.m. last Thursday in the 1100 block of Carling Avenue, near The Ottawa Hospital's Civic campus. On Monday, dozens of volunteers fanned out across Ottawa to search for McCaffrey. UPDATE: Rebecca McCaffrey has been located safe & sound. #ottnews — @OttawaPoliceEarlier Tuesday organizers announced they were calling off the ground search, and wouldn't be forming any new search parties after talking with police.
