Those local governments built and fund their own isolation, testing, and treatment centers for mild cases. Yet it pays hospitals only P43,997, P143,267, P333,519, and P786,384 per mild, moderate, severe, and critical COVID-19 case. DOH reports that 1,772 health workers have been infected as of May 3 – 19.2 percent of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
