PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan, Philippines – The Department of Health in the Mimaropa region reported on Tuesday that four suspected coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients had died in Palawan, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 25. She had bronchial asthma, Richard Ligad, Puerto Princesa information, said in a video announcement aired live on Facebook. Both patients died on May 3. The three patients, all from Puerto Princesa, were swabbed for confirmatory tests, with pending results. On Monday, the DOH also reported that there were three probable COVID-19 patients who also died in the province.
