Other vendors found Siripen Kanchanakul, 48, lying inside her stall at the Thep Chinda market on Tambon Ban Chang in Ban Chang district. Initially, they thought she had fainted or fallen asleep, but they were unable to wake her up. Vendors of nearby stalls said they saw Siripen rushing to set up her noodle stand early in the morning, but later noticed her body on a portable bed.
