In a welcome and heartening change of events, a group of Kashmir girls, who participated in a stone pelting incident a few weeks ago, were seen playing football at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. For me, football is like a player, said one of these Kashmiri girls. Another Kashmiri girl who has been playing football said, "I am good at academics. It is my dream to be a football player. At a time when stone pelting incidents in Kashmir are on the rise, such instances come across as a ray of hope to help other youths who have gone astray to channelise their time and energy in constructive and creative pursuits.
