TWENTY-FIVE years ago, a young Bong Ravena was drafted by Swift head coach Yeng Guiao in 1992 in the Philippine Basketball Association as he felt the youthful do-it-all wingman can do wonders. Second overall pick Kiefer Ravena is flanked by his NLEX coach Yeng Guiao, team officials and members of the Road Warriors. Kiefer Ravena, son of Bong, was an obvious choice for Guiao and his Road Warriors at No. “I’m hopeful that I can follow what my father did and have a significant and wonderful career in the PBA as well,” said the younger Ravena. Ravena is set to team-up with rising spitfires Kevin Alas and Alex Mallari in manning the NLEX backcourt.
