Tonight - which also happens to be Halloween - a rare blue moon is set to appear, and you don’t want to miss it! Contrary to popular belief, a blue moon has nothing to do with the colour of the moon. NASA explained: “According to modern folklore, a Blue Moon is the second full moon in a calendar month. If you miss the Halloween Blue Moon, unfortunately you’ve got a while to wait until the next one. The next blue moons are set to appear on 31 August 2023, 31 May 2026 and 31 December 2028.
