DHAKA, Jan 6, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram Royals opener Adam Rossinton is on the verge of a record which no one could do in the history of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The England recruit Rossington will etch his name in the BPL record book if he could hit a half-century when his side will take on Sylhet Titans tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. A half-century in the next match would make it four in a row for him, something which so far no one in BPL history could do. However, Rossington became the ninth batter to hit three half-centuries on the trot in the BPL history. Brad Hodge (Australia), Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh), Upul Tharanga (Sri Lanka), Alex Hales (England), Towhid Hridoy (Bangladesh), Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan), Usman Khan (Pakistan), Parvez Hossain Emon (Bangladesh) and Adam Rossington (England) joined the club gradually after Akmal’s feat.
