The Luxembourg side, who beat Rangers in 2017, Cardiff Met Uni or League of Ireland side Cork City will play the winner of Rangers' tie with Prishtina or St Joseph's. The Scottish teams will be at home for the first leg if they reach the second qualifying round, which will be played over 25 July and 1 August. Rangers, then managed by Pedro Caixinha, were beaten 2-1 on aggregate by Progres in the first qualifying round two years ago. Kilmarnock, who appointed Angelo Alessio as their new manager on Sunday, are returning to European football after an 18-year absence.
