Supreme Court lawyer ZI Khan Panna sent the notice on Monday. Earlier on Sunday, Ranga claimed that Shaheed Noor Hossain was addicted to drugs like yaba and phensedyl at a discussion organized by his party marking "Democracy Day." Ranga's controversial comments over Shaheed Noor triggered mass criticism in the political arena of the country and social media platforms including Facebook. Later on Monday, Noor’s mother Morium Bibi said she will take legal action against Ranga for his ill remarks about her son.
