In a message early Tuesday, the president extended deep condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in the accident, and prayed for the eternal peace of the victims, reports UNB. He also urged the local administration and public representatives to come forward and extend their help to the victims of the fatal accident. At least 15 passengers were killed and over 100 others injured in a collision of two trains at Mondobagh in Brahmanbaria early Tuesday. “Chittagong-bound Udayan Express from Sylhet and Dhaka-bound Turna Nishita from Chittagong collided near Mondobagh Railway Station around 3:30am,” Brahmanbaria Deputy Commissioner Hayat-ud-Dowla Khan told Dhaka Tribune.
