Baumann war zuletzt Manager Enterprise Sales Germany bei Pure Storage. Frühere Stationen in der Storage-Branche waren bei Dell als Country Manager Germany for Converged Platform Solution Division (VCE-Produkte) sowie fünf Jahre bei EMC, dort zuletzt als Sales Manager für Baden-Württemberg.
