Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Boalia police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nibaran Chandra Barman said police arrested Moin Uddin Azad, 42, following a raid at his house on Wednesday evening. The victim, a housewife (25) and a mother of two, filed a rape case against Azad with the Boalia Model Police Station in Rajshahi on January 18. According to the case details, she met Station Master Azad while travelling from the train station. Despite the threat, the victim filed a case with the police the next day.
