Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Noor Nahar Yasmeen rejected their bail petition on Monday, filed by the lawyers of the two drivers. Swajan Paribahan Driver Md Khorshed was represented by Helal Uddin Patwari, while BRTC driver Md Wahed Ali was represented by Mohammad Yunus. On Apr 3, Rajib Hossain’s arm was crushed between two buses due to reckless driving in the Kawran Bazar area. The two bus drivers were arrested for reckless driving and causing critical injury. If found guilty under one charge, the two drivers could face up to three years in prison or a Tk 5,000 fine, or both.
