During the day, a few PILs challenging the ordinance and the bill were filed before the Rajasthan High Court. Advocate Ajay Kumar Jain, who filed one such PIL, said the amendment was unconstitutional and such gag orders or curb on the powers of magistrates was totally unacceptable in any democracy.
