The sun might be out on the West Coast following the battering of rain they received earlier in the week, but the downpours are due to return and spread around the country over the weekend, according to MetService. On the West Coast, a burst of heavy rain is expected from Sunday, but fortunately, it won't be as heavy as the torrential and damaging falls the region recently experienced.
