Opposition leader Raila Odinga is using the demonstrations against the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission to remain politically relevant, a youth leader has said. Meshack Kimutai, the chairperson of the Kenya Youth Alliance, said, “Raila has lost relevance in politics and is capitalising on the demonstrations to remain popular among Kenyans.”“He is misleading Kenyans. He should stop the demonstrations and follow the constitutional means,” he said. Kimutai spoke to the Star at the English Point Marina on Saturday night on the sidelines of the Pwani Fashion Awards. He knows the right channel to follow if at all he wants the removal of IEBC commissioners.
