Pakshi Divisional Railway Manager Mizanur Rahman said the train services resumed completely around 8:30pm on Friday, after a relief train cleared the rail tracks removing the derailed coaches and the locomotive. Due to the accident, around 200 metres of rail line one and 50 metres of rail line two were damaged, he said. However, it will take an additional 24 hours to repair the rail line one, the railway official said. The services resumed partially around 9pm on Thursday on rail line two.
