Highlighting the historical background of SDGs, he said Bangladesh played a significant role in setting the new set of global goals. Additional Secretary (SDGs) at Prime Minister’s Office M Mokammel Hossain presented a paper at the seminar chaired by Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, chairman of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), reports UNB. Terming Bangladesh a country of innovation, Dr Momen said challenges related to financial, technological and social aspects will not appear as barriers to the implementation of SDGs. The speakers emphasized partnership between private and public sectors, South-South Cooperation and resource mobilization to achieve the SDGs.
