(PTI)Srinagar: Militants stormed the family colony of an army camp in Jammu, triggering gun battles and close-quarter combat that began before dawn and stretched well into the night on Saturday. By nightfall, at least two junior commissioned officers and two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammad militants had been killed at the 36 brigade headquarters of the army in Jammu. The militants have taken shelter in several residential quarters inside the camp at Sunjuwan. Most of the over 150 houses in the complex have been cleared and the occupants moved to safety, an army spokesperson said.
