This is MacDonald’s fourth top 10, and her second to stall in second place, though she has reached the top of the charts once, with her debut full-length This Is The Life. This is the highest Adams has ever reached on the U.K. charts, though he’s broken into the uppermost tier twice prior to this week. Ed Sheeran’s latest album, 2014’s x, continues to rise in the rankings thanks to the immediate popularity of his new singles.
