Racing is playing at the TSB Festival of Lights on New Year's Eve. A Kiwi band that has shared the stage with some of the world's biggest acts will be ringing in the New Year in New Plymouth. Racing will be performing from 10.45-11.55pm on New Year's Eve at New Plymouth's TSB Festival of Lights. As The Checks, Knowles and Pettersen performed with some of rock's biggest bands, including Oasis, Jet, Muse, The Killers and AC/DC, but the band split in 2012 and Racing was formed in 2015. As for the New Plymouth District Council-run festival, none of the band members had visited before.
