Ethics and equality still guiding lights for Manawatū scientist


She spent almost the next 30 years as a microbiologist-molecular biologist at the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute, now Fonterra. It was well documented and came at a time when Jarvis was developing an interest in medical ethics. She was also a key member of the Interim National Ethics Committee on Assisted Human Reproduction for nine years.
