Rasel used to work in a local garment factory, and was living in a rented house in Bhuiyanpara area. Bullet-riddled Rasel had been taken to a local hospital at first and then was transferred to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar. Confirming the matter, Ashulia police station Inspector Zabed Masud said: "Upon receiving information, police inspected the crime scene. The victim’s body will be sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka for autopsy."
