Surrey RCMP say they have arrested one man following a standoff in a Surrey neighbourhood. Heavily armed officer attended the scene and police say they entered negotiations for the man to surrender. An armoured vehicle was deployed on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 by Surrey RCMP. While police now say they have a man in custody, they would not say if it was the same individual they said had barricaded himself in the house. Police say they are now holding the house and the traffic situation in the neighbourhood is returning to normal.
