A 30-year-old man, said to an informant of Rapid Action Battalion, has been found shot dead in Jessore’s Manirampur upazila. The body bearing multiple bullet wounds was sent to the morgue of Jessore General Hospital yesterday morning for an autopsy. OC Mokarram, however, suspects that previous rivalry over the murder case might have led to Ataur’s death. Accordingly, Ataur along with Shahidul went to the chairman’s home in Kultia area, she added. Ataur had left his village home and started living in a rented house in Jessore town after being sued in the case.
