51.98% Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the financial year 2016- 2017 has already been implemented in April. In addition, the Minister also said five new projects have been approved by the prime minister that will cost Tk5,710cr. Three of the Ecnec approved projects are focused on development and upgradation of road infrastructure in Sylhet zone, Narsingdi district, and Bagerhat to Patgati highway. “The Prime Minister has asked that proper drainage be integrated in these development projects,” said the planning minister. Asrayon-2 Prokolpo, the project targeted to rehabilitate landless people, in its second phase will cost Tk4,840.28cr and will rehabilitate approximately 0.25 million families by 2019.
