Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday morning arrested the ringleader of a mugging gang from Narayanganj district’s Ruposhi area, who may have also recently murdered a Daffodil International University student. However, Litu’s position as the ringleader of a mugging gang had been confirmed. The Dhaka Tribune has obtained the video footage, which shows two youths right before and after they snatched valuables from two passengers of a rickshaw. Sources said the youth wearing a purple full sleeve shirt seen in the footage was Litu and the other, wearing a blue T-shirt, was Hira. RAB 3 CO Imranul Hassan said the name of one Aslam had also come up in the investigation.
