The spirit of Halloween is creeping and crawling through The Villages. Witches are cackling while stirring their brews, zombies are emerging from their shallow graves and skeletons are dancing down the streets. Halloween is still a few weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped many residents from joining together neighbors for ghoulish gatherings all month long. In the Village Santiago, neighbors work together to decorate their entire street, while in the Village of Dunedin they dress up together in a variety of costumes to entertain people passing by. As the sun sets, jack-o’-lanterns and hobgoblins light up the night and fulfill our moonlit dreams.
