Quebec woman who died at Peggys Cove travelled alone, RCMP say

RCMP say the 46-year-old Quebec woman who died on Sunday was in Peggys Cove, N.S., alone and they don't suspect foul play. The owner of Peggys Cove Boat Tours says the woman's purse was recovered where she was reportedly standing before she went into the water. "The woman was believed to have been alone at the time she was at Peggys Cove and there is no information to suggest she was part of a tour group," Cpl. "It's my understanding that the female was located by a fishing boat and the remains were brought to the government wharf by the fishing boat," Peter Andrews, a division commander for Halifax Fire, told CBC. RCMP say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
