There are concerns that Covid-19 cases are rising in GreeceGreece defended its handling of the coronavirus pandemic today as air passengers travelling from the country faced being hit by quarantine restrictions when they enter the UK. Harry Theoharis, the Greek tourism minister, said that the number of cases was in decline and were still well within the British government’s threshold for quarantine measures. Scotland announced that it would force holidaymakers returning from Greece to self-isolate from 4am tomorrow because of concerns over importing coronavirus cases. Wales said it would apply specific quarantine measures on all arrivals from the island of Zante but not the rest of Greece. The authorities in Westminster said that there were no plans to quarantine arrivals in England from Greece although the imposition of restrictions elsewhere in the UK will
