Obaidul Quader, however, is quick to add that his belief does not reflect his party position on Huda's comments. "We'll have to be certain about what he had said," the Awami League leader said. "This may be part of his strategy to bring the BNP to the election," the Awami League general secretary said. Their Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir appeared delighted. "I hope this hope of theirs is there until the next election," he added.The Awami League is scheduled to sit with the EC on Wednesday.
