Terming Pohela Boishakh a universal cultural festival of Bangalees, he said the non-communal spirit of Bangalees is depicted in this festival. “This year, we are celebrating Pohela Boishakh at such a time when the deadly coronavirus has gripped the people of the nation,” Quader said. “That is why social distancing is the most effective way of preventing infection from the deadly virus,” he added.
