"I am physically and mentally well," Quader, also the General Secretary of the ruling Awami League, told the media during a views-exchange meeting at the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry around 11am on Sunday. Earlier, Road Transports and Bridges Secretary Md Nazrul Islam welcomed Quader. Quader returned home on May 15, after completing his bypass surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. Quader had left for Singapore on March 4, after being admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) with chest pains the day before.
