The minister stated this during his visit to the Mohakhali inter-district bus terminal on Saturday morning. Fearing traffic jams could result from rain, he said, “Rain may cause obstructions for commuters going through Dhaka to Gazipur. Otherwise, it [journeys] will be uninterrupted.”"Rain may slow down the speed of vehicles, but there will be no traffic jams, or harassment of passengers.”During the visit, Quader talked with some home-bound travellers, and bus counter managers, and listened to their opinions. Earlier, Quader had visited Dhaka's Gabtoli bus terminal to inspect the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority’s mobile court on Friday morning and made similar statements.
