In Faridpur, two people were killed—and two others injured—when a bus collided head-on with a truck, at Purbogangabordi on the Dhaka-Khulna highway, on Saturday morning. One of the deceased was identified as bus driver, Islam, hailing from Magura district; and the other is still unidentified. In Feni, a youth was critically injured in an accident on Friday evening and was admitted to hospital, where he died on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Neyamul Karim Riad, 28, son of Delowar Hossain, hailing from Durgapur village of Chhagalnaiya upazila.
