In Wednesday's Budget, Sh400 million was allocated to street families. The rate at which street families are coming up is high and most are supported by non-governmental organisations and charitable organisations. State officers should be hands on to prevent corruption and help deal with the streets families menace. It is surprising that the funds allocated were slightly higher than last year's Budget. The money ought to be put to good use because as a country we don't see that.
