On the IEBC wrangles, and indeed on any other matter of public or national interest, the buck stops with the President. President Uhuru Kenyatta, by attempting to distance himself from the controversy, is actually acting small. President Kenyatta must rise above Jubilee party politics. The current impasse on whether to disband the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) or not is reflective of Jubilee's leadership deficiency. By trying to run away from the crisis, the President is showcasing lack of exemplary leadership skills and qualities.
